Derek gets a date via the Internet with a woman called Tracey. All the staff and residents are pleased for him, except the jealous Geoff, who tries to sabotage Derek by making him spill a fizzy drink down his jumper though when Kev stands up for him and Geoff pushes him Derek is uncharacteristically aggressive. As Geoff apologizes to Hannah Derek meets Tracey in a French bistro where, despite his being confused by the menu and mistaking the towels for mints, the date goes fairly well. On return Derek keeps a vigil by the ailing Anthony's bedside . The old man dies but Derek is cheered by the fact that they met up again. Written by don @ minifie-1
